About The Black Estate Magazine
Founded in 2020 by Tinisha Williams — Principal Broker, entrepreneur, and visionary — The Black Estate Magazine was born at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Black-owned businesses were closing at unprecedented rates. What began as a virtual podcast quickly became a movement to keep our community connected, visible, and thriving.
With deep roots in real estate, Tinisha recognized a unique opportunity: to not only refer trusted Black-owned service-based businesses to her clients, but also to inspire other realtors to do the same. By fostering a culture of intentional referral and collaboration, The Black Estate helped service providers stay afloat during one of the most challenging economic moments of our time.
Our very first interview — with Ashley Scott, founder of the historic Freedom Georgia Initiative — set the tone for our mission: to amplify Black voices, preserve our stories, and champion economic empowerment.
Today, The Black Estate Magazine has evolved into a premier platform highlighting Black economics, real estate, business innovation, culture, and wealth building. We connect audiences with industry leaders, spotlight changemakers, and create opportunities that elevate both brands and communities.
More than a publication, we are a network, a stage, and a blueprint for building generational wealth and cultural pride.understanding of the industry and is dedicated to helping other entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
At The Black Estate Magazine, our vision is to stand as the premier voice of Black excellence in media — delivering news and insights that matter, while keeping our eye and finger on the pulse of Black economics, real estate, and business innovation. We illuminate the trailblazers in our community who are shaping a culture of elevation through education, entrepreneurship, investment, and entertainment.
We are more than a publication; we are a platform for influence, a curator of opportunity, and a storyteller for our legacy. Our content not only entertains, educates, and inspires, but also serves as a blueprint for building generational wealth and cultural pride.
In every issue, we champion authors and visionaries, giving them the stage to share their voices with the world — ensuring our stories are told, preserved, and celebrated for generations to come.
